Biomolecular Analysis Core

Director: John Turk, M.D., Ph.D.

The overall goal of the Biomolecular Analysis (BMA) Core laboratory is to provide the powerful tools of modern mass spectrometry to CNRU investigators. Major emphasis is placed on low-level structural identification and quantitation of nutrition-related biomolecules. In addition to providing instrumental capabilities, BMA Core staff provide consultation and collaboration on application of mass spectrometry to nutrition research, and this includes development of new analytical methods targeted at achieving research objectives of CNRU investigators.
